From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this
Antique c1930 T.J. Rice Matted Print showing a Beautiful NEWFOUNDLAND DOG from the neck up.
The inscription beneath the image is: “A Newfoundland dog is said to be the bravest of all dogs.” Measuring approximately 4 1/2” x 6 1/2” this has a beveled mat which extends the measurement to 7 7/8” x 9 3/4”. As shown, it is covered by plastic and appears to be in excellent condition.
