Galvanized, Malleable Steel Butt Hinges are the heavy duty solution you need to hang your commercial and industrial chain link gates.  These tough hinges are designed to open 90 degrees, but can be made to open a full 180 degrees with the use of an adapter.  The heavy galvanized coating holds up well in all climates, protecting the underlying steel from rust and corrosion.  Most gate under 8' tall will use 2 of these hinges per gate.  Gates 8' - 12' tall should use at least 3 hinges.
Butt Hinges, or Box hinges as they are sometimes referred to, sit on top of your gates brace rails, and swing loosely inside the collar, making for a smooth opening and closing motion.
